Skating 101 Program

The Iceplex Skating 101 Program provides an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill while staying active during the winter. This program is an ideal starting point for those interested in ice hockey, figure skating, or recreational skating.
This 8-week program is designed for absolute beginners and is taught by our professional skating instructional staff. The program meets weekly, and the cost includes rental skates. Participants must provide their own safety helmet for each class, such as a bicycle, hockey, or other approved helmet.
The class format consists of 50 minutes on the ice, which includes a 25-minute group lesson and 25 minutes of supervised practice time. Class sizes are limited to ensure a safe and effective learning environment for all participants.
