Tim Hortons Iceplex operates under a dual revenue model that effectively mitigates risk. The Iceplex operates its own internal programs, leagues, and events, and also rents out its facilities to external customers. These external customers include major tournament organizers, special event organizers and community members, with a core group of organizations regularly using the Iceplex as their home base.

In addition to ice and space rentals, Tim Hortons Iceplex also leases space to several onsite tenants, including Chef’s Bar & Grill, Lattimore Physical Therapy, Lattimore Fitness, and ScorZone Golf Center & Lounge. This multifaceted approach has resulted in over 7,000 bookings annually, accounting for more than 10,000 hours of ice/floor rentals.

The Iceplex both runs its own internal programs, leagues, and events, and also rents out its facilities to external customers.

These external customers include major tournament organizers and community members, with a core group of organizations regularly using the Iceplex as their home base (Nazareth Men's & Women's NCAA DIII Hockey Teams, Pittsford Highschool Varisty & JV Hockey Teams,  Bishop Kearney Girls Selects Teams,  Rochester Youth Hockey Coalition, Rochester Edge Girls Hockey, Rochester Ice Cats, St. John Fisher Club Hockey).

timbits Hockey 101 Program - Hockey 101 is Step #1 of the Iceplex Learn to Play Hockey programs for children. This program is designed with an emphasis on having fun, creating the positive atmosphere crucial for children to achieve the
comfort levels needed to learn.

Never Ever League - The Never Ever League is for the adult who has never ever played hockey before. The program is co-ed, nonchecking, for people over 18
years of age and is set in an insanely positive, judgment free
atmosphere. It’s unique design and execution are why over 3,000 adults
have learn to play hockey through the Never Ever League since it’s
inception in 2012.

Skating 101 - Skating 101 is a beginning ice skating program that serves the needs of
many new and beginning skaters. Whether you want to play hockey, move on to figure skating or just learn to skate for recreation this program is designed to teach all ages how to ice skate! 

Iceplex Adult Hockey League (IAHL)- Rochester's Largest Recreational Adult Hockey League- The Iceplex Adult Hockey League offers organized league play for adult recreational players of all skill levels. The league operates three playing
seasons during the calendar year (Fall, Winter, and Summer) offering
registration for full teams

Since its establishment in 1998, Monroe Community Sports Centre Corp., operating under the name Tim Hortons Iceplex, has emerged as a vital non-profit entity with 501(c)(3) status. Tim Hortons Iceplex plays a vital role in driving sports tourism and economic development in Monroe County. As a premier multi-rink facility, it attracts regional, national, and international hockey tournaments, figure skating events, and training camps year-round. TOURNAMENTS & EVENTS

We host numerous special events annually, including 20+ large-scale, multi-day ice hockey tournaments taking place over 60 days.

OUT OF TOWN TEAMS

Annually, our ice hockey tournaments are attended by more than 725 out-of-town teams, who stay in the area for multiple days.

OUT OF TOWN VISITORS

Each year, more than 37,750 out-of-town visitors travel to Rochester for our ice hockey tournaments, staying at least two nights and three days. In between games, they have free time to explore—seeking dining, entertainment, and shopping throughout the community.

ECONOMIC IMPACT

Annually, our hockey tournaments contribute approximately $35 million in economic impact to Monroe County. In total, our organization delivers an overall annual economic impact estimated between $60 and $80 million.

ROOM NIGHTS GENERATED

Annually, our out-of-town guests account for over 33,000+ hotel room nights throughout Monroe County.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SPEND

Each year, our out-of-town visitors contribute an estimated $6.75 million to Rochester’s vibrant food and beverage scene, supporting local restaurants, bars, and establishments.
