Youth Spring Hockey League

The Iceplex Youth Spring Hockey League is designed as a lite commitment, where players play one day per week for an 8-week season. Players are able to register with a team of friends, or as a Free Agent looking to be placed on a team. All games are half ice and played in a 3v3 format (with cross ice boards). Games take place on Wednesdays, with start times ranging in the 6pm to 8pm range. Game formats consist of two - 22 minutes running halves, non-check games, penalties result in a penalty shot. Minimum roster size is 7 (6 players and 1 goaltender) and maximum roster size is 10 (9 players and 1 goaltender).

This league concept is designed around one simple premise - having fun. The atmosphere is light, features music in the background, with games designed to provide an opportunity for skill development in the off-season.
