Tim Hortons Iceplex to Host 2026 American Hockey League Officials’ Training Camp

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tim Hortons Iceplex will host the American Hockey League (AHL) Officials’ Training Camp this week. Specifically, the annual event takes place this Thursday, September 17, and Friday, September 18.

More than 100 AHL officials will arrive in Rochester to prepare for the 2026-27 season. During the camp, NHL officiating managers and the AHL hockey operations team will lead intense on-ice and off-ice sessions. Furthermore, these drills focus on physical conditioning, rulebook updates, and elite skill development.

As the region’s top ice sports destination, Tim Hortons Iceplex offers world-class facilities for professional athletes. Consequently, the arena provides the perfect environment for these elite officials to hone their craft.

Event Schedule & Details

  • Location: Tim Hortons Iceplex (2700 Brighton Henrietta Townline Rd., Rochester, N.Y.)

  • Thursday, September 17: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (On-ice sessions all day)

  • Friday, September 18: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (On-ice sessions from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.)
