-
Modern Skill Mastery: Refine your offensive "touch" with deceptive shooting, 360-degree stickhandling, and functional edge work.

Whether you are an elite prospect looking for recruiting exposure or a player looking to master the modern mechanics of the game, your path to the next level starts here.
May
Pro Stride Elite Skating
May 16–17
Pro Stride doesn’t just teach you how to skate; they teach you how to skate for hockey. This camp focuses on “Hockey Skating IQ,” moving beyond basic laps to master explosive transitions, linear crossover power, and the efficiency needed to win races to the puck. It is a high-intensity, technical weekend designed to help players maintain speed while carrying the puck under pressure.
June
Rochester High Performance
June 5–7
Hosted by Jones Hockey Development (JHD), this camp is built for the “AAA” and elite-level player. The curriculum is centered on speed, intensity, and creativity. By utilizing current NCAA Division I players and coaches as instructors, JHD bridges the gap between youth hockey and the next level, pushing athletes through game-situation drills that require high-speed decision-making and elite puck protection.
585 PIP Showcase: The NCAA Look
June 11–14
This showcase is specifically engineered for student-athletes in the 2026 and 2027 graduation years, including Post-Grads. It is a high-level networking and coaching event where every on-ice session—from skills clinics to the bench during games—is led by NCAA Division I and III coaches. The “585” is kept small (limited to 4 teams) to ensure maximum visibility for recruiters from over 50 anticipated NCAA programs. The weekend includes a college-level skills session, team practice, and four competitive games.
The Premier Ice Prospects (PIP) Series
June 21–25
This is the ultimate “College Prep” week for elite female athletes. Premier Ice Prospects (PIP) brings the highest level of instruction to Rochester, featuring a staff comprised entirely of NCAA Division I coaches. Whether your player is an emerging talent or a top-tier recruit, these camps provide an immersive professional environment including on-ice training, recruiting seminars, and competitive games.
Three Specialized Tracks:
- 14U Prospects Camp: The flagship boarding camp and a premier “viewing” and development environment for 2012 birth years.
- Girls Elite Prospects Camp: Designed for younger elite players (2013-2015), focusing on position-specific skills and introducing high-performance standards.
- Prospects Goalie Camp: A dedicated crease-instruction program led by 2x Olympian Bri McLaughlin, offering one of the lowest coach-to-student ratios in the country.
July
Simply Defense Hockey
July 6–9
Often described as the “Ph.D. of Blue Line Play,” this camp is 100% dedicated to the often-overlooked art of defending. Instead of generic drills, players spend four days mastering gap control, net-front battles, and the “first pass” breakout. With an emphasis on classroom video analysis paired with on-ice reps, it is designed to turn stay-at-home defenders into elite, mobile playmakers.
NewEdge School of Goaltending: Summer Development Camp
July 13–15
This all-inclusive goalie camp delivers over 17 hours of elite, goalie-specific training through a blend of on-ice, off-ice, classroom, and video analysis instruction. Goalies learn the “how and why” behind every movement using pro-level training tools like Sense Arena VR and Blaze Pods. With a 4:1 maximum goalie-to-coach ratio, netminders receive personalized instruction on edgework, save selection, and post-load concepts.
Sedia Hockey – 2015 “Kickstart” Camp
July 14–16
Most summer camps are designed to keep kids busy; the 2015 Kickstart Camp is designed to make them elite. Professional trainers ensure players learn to read the game through “Advanced Situational Development”. Each day features 2.5 hours of ice time paired with professional classroom seminars focusing on Hockey IQ, “Compete & Battle” habits, and position-specific tactics. Space is strictly capped at 10 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 4 goalies.
Strong Hockey Camps
July 19–24
The ultimate “Total Player” experience. Strong Hockey provides a full-day environment that balances hard work with summer fun. Players get three hours of ice time daily—split between power skating and puck skills—plus off-ice conditioning and team-building sessions. It is the perfect comprehensive, week-long development program to keep players engaged from morning until afternoon.
August
Greg Carter European Hockey School
August 10–14
Finish the summer with the world-renowned “Carter Method”. This camp focuses on the European style of play: extreme agility, deep edge control, and 360-degree stickhandling. Using unique training tools like parallel bars on the ice, the school forces players to develop better balance and a lower center of gravity, providing a distinct physical advantage heading into fall tryouts.
